Mind the Gap are a group of dads based in New Canaan, Connecticut who came together through a shared love of classic rock and roll. They have been playing together since 2015, but are not your standard covers band who run through a predictable set of songs. They turn every performance into a party and are guaranteed to blow the roof off and get the place rocking. To really see what makes us unique, watch this short video:

They offer a versatile experience - you can book them, or go and see them, play a set of songs like any other band. However, unlike other bands, they will to deliver a SHOW that will create a never-to-be-forgotten experience. They can dress up as an 80's hair band, don dark suits and white shirts, or wear Christmas costumes - The band will work with you to deliver exactly what you want for your event.

For the ultimate party experience you can book them as your own personal rocking house band, and they will provide live backing for your guests / employees / friends to perform Rockaoke.

This is not your standard Karaoke with cheesy backing tracks and bouncing ball lyric prompts - Rockaoke gives people the chance to live out their rock star fantasies by fronting a real live band who will make you feel like you are Mercury, Tyler, Jagger or Bowie.

Get up and sing on your own, or grab some friends and gain strength in numbers - the aim is to have fun, shed your inhibitions and rock out! We provide lyric sheets, moral support, help and encouragement - check out the Rockaoke page for more information.

Mind the Gap turned our annual Christmas Party - fun but sedate - into a wild concert in our living room!

The band were fabulous - encouraging many guests to unleash their inner Rock Star...including ME - who swore ‘never in a million years’ would I ever sing in public!

I would recommend Mind the Gap to anyone wanting to host the party of a lifetime!
